Juliette Moffroid

Juliette Moffroid is graduating from Colorado Rocky Mountain School and will attend Kenyon College in the fall. One of her prints was selected by her school for the graduation announcement. The print selected is one of a series she made last summer at Anderson Ranch Art Center. She also received a $1500 Dream Project scholarship from the Colorado based 5 Point Film Festival to hike and document the John Muir Trail this summer. She plans to make prints of her photos and sketches once she arrives at Kenyon College and donate them to the Pacific Crest Trail Association.

Madison Bloch was chosen to be featured on the Saatchi Art website for their May 19, 2014 Collection of 49 works of art in painting, photography, sculpture, drawing, collage and new media. The collections are a group of images selected by Saatchi Art curators, artists, art fans and other community members for viewing. The collections are curated by Rebecca Wilson, Director at the Saatchi Gallery in London. Wilson is the former editor of ArtReview and was the deputy editor of Modern Painters.

Taura Golafshan

Taura Golafshan is bringing the garden to her hometown community. She holds close the vision of a healthy future with the potential to impact education, sense of community, the economy and the environment: both local and global. The self-sustainable factor is something she wants to introduce to the masses and she credits her work with the gardens at Oxbow as an influential element of her semester. She is building a clientele in her small barbering business and is working on a project to incorporate a nonprofit focused on global challenges.

Roger Freeman wins the prestigious Storm King School 2014 Arts Madness grand prize award of a $25,000 scholarship. He was selected for the award from among exceptional students from around the globe who submitted portfolios in creative writing, music, theater, dance and visual art. Storm King School is located in Cornwall-on-Hudson in New York and is a non-profit boarding school dedicated to the success of each student, helping them to dream big, work hard and achieve success, each in his or her own way.
