Amelia Sechman

Amelia Sechman studied at L'Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in Arles in 2008, traveled to Bulgaria and spent two weeks in Pirin Mountains working at a farm that preserves extremely rare, ancient and local breed of Karakachan sheep, dogs and horses. In addition to the Karakachan project is a program to protect the native wolves in the Bulgarian mountains. Click here for the Semperviva organization’s website. Janne Henriksen

Janne Henriksen is trying to figure out how to manage her love for horses and art and has found it hard to be able to give her all to both. She hasn’t given up and plans to continue studying in NY and figure out a Saturday riding schedule at a barn outside the city.

Georgia Carter

Georgia Carter was offered a solo show with Maniac Gallery in Los Angeles before graduation. As for now, she is working as a curatorial intern at Pro Arts gallery, as well as NOMA gallery in San Francisco. Look for her to be featured in a group show at ABCO in April and a small solo show Mama Buzz gallery in late spring/early summer. Check out her website at: allwhoainthid.com

Caroline Woolard

Caroline Woolard – received $15,000 to finish developing www.OurGoods.org, a barter network that helps artists, designers, and producers of culture get independent projects done. In the past year, Caroline was an artist in residence at The MacDowell Colony, Watermill, and iLAND. Caroline is also currently a core member of two collaborative projects: KTC Architecture (building an off-the-grid house for artists for The Andes Sprouts Society) and Strataspore (mycology and art: www.strataspore.com). She lives in NYC and wishes she could visit Oxbow right now!

Nina Behrsin

Nina Behrsin is still living and working in Los Angeles teaching English literacy through art to young Korean-American children and adults. She is also working on an English-literacy book for Pakistani children doing both text and the illustrations. She also had her first show in downtown LA this fall.
