Megan Broughton, our Residential Life Advisor (and OS15 Alum) is in El Bruc, Spain as an artist in residence on a support stipend at Can Serrat for the month of October. Can Serrat offers two Writers and two Visual Arts full stipends annually. It is located in a rustic farmhouse 45 kilometers outside Barcelona within the confines of Montserrat Natural Park.

Megan draws inspiration from the breathtaking local geography, views of Catalunya's sacred mountain and artists from around the world. Exploring her artist practice, she's working on a series focusing on similar forms, characteristics, and vocabularies between human bodies and natural forms.
