Jason Kartez is in two group shows, the first Making our Mark-Art by Pratt Teaching Artists is a commemorative exhibition celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Pratt Fine Arts Center. The group show opened at the Bellevue Arts Museum in Bellevue Washington in November and runs through April 15, 2018. The show features 300 teaching 300 artists throughout organizations history. The second show Response, is the inaugural show of the print collective Vox Populi. This group show features printmaking made in response to the current political climate. The show will be at Art Helix Gallery in Brooklyn, New York.
He is also in a group show Shhh... at the Arts + Literature Laboratory in Madison, WI from February 3 - March 3. "The exhibition presents a collection of WWII propaganda posters as its point of departure and features the work of 24 artists who use “propaganda” or information/disinformation in some way to address and reframe issues present in our current cultural-political climate."
Jason will be teaching making comics May 1 -July 2018 at the University of Wisconsin Madison.
