Julia O'Gara is attending Tufts University and participating in their five-year dual degree program with the School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston (SMFA). Through a collaboration with both schools students pursue their BFA, MFA or MAT, taking studio art classes with SMFA faculty and academic courses with TUFTS faculty. All degrees are granted through TUFTS University.

Juliette Moffroid is graduating from Colorado Rocky Mountain School and will attend Kenyon College in the fall. One of her prints was selected by her school for the graduation announcement. The print selected is one of a series she made last summer at Anderson Ranch Art Center. She also received a $1500 Dream Project scholarship from the Colorado based 5 Point Film Festival to hike and document the John Muir Trail this summer. She plans to make prints of her photos and sketches once she arrives at Kenyon College and donate them to the Pacific Crest Trail Association.

Katia Perez

Katia Perez is painting murals, attending college and is one of 22 US students chosen for the Smithsonian Latino Center's Young Ambassador Program of 2013. Those selected to participate have demonstrated an interest in and commitment to the arts, sciences, or humanities as it pertains to Latino communities and culture. Through this program, Latino youth are empowered to develop leadership and academic skills and foster pride in their own cultural heritage. This also gave her the opportunity to intern at the National Hispanic Cultural Center with the Education Department. The center offers a variety of programs and activities throughout the year in various artistic disciplines including visual arts, performing arts, history and literary arts, media arts and education.
She is currently interning at OLE, a non-profit grassroots organization that works with the local community of working families in New Mexico. She also spends time helping out at the Working Classroom.
