Napa Makes is honored to be back at Oxbow School for their 2nd annual event. Napa Makes is an opportunity to connect with local artisans and shop their handmade creations right here at Oxbow School. Napa Makes is expanding our array of food and wine vendors to showcase the diversity of our local small-production vintners and culinary masters.

For those of you who shop creative markets frequently, you know that the early birds catch the worms. We will be offering Early Bird tickets! For $20, enjoy complimentary coffee and tea, pastries by Andreya Nightingale of Mortar Pestle Cooking, and shop all the vendors at 9am for a full hour before the doors open to the public. Getting first dibs on your favorite artists, as well as more intimate time spent with makers and shoppers alike...what’s not to love?

Please join us for Oxbow's annual Spring Benefit on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the beautiful Hudson Ranch winery in the Carneros region of Napa Valley.

Special guest Chef Curtis diFede of Miminashi fame will be creating an artful Napa-inspired spring menu + Napa Valley wines from Robert Sinskey Vineyards. Come meet our special guest Emcee Llisa Demetrios of The Eames Office, the granddaughter of Ray & Charles Eames, who will be speaking about her family's creative design process. Oxbow Alums Caroline Woolard, OS4 and Colby Case, OS39 will also be sharing their unique perspectives of their time at Oxbow.

We had a wonderful Art Opening Reception at the Robert Mondavi Winery on Friday, April 27. Thank you to all of you who came out and purchased art. Lots of the stunning pieces sold, but there are still some amazing offerings available.

Oxbow will be hosting Napa Makes, a curated craft event highlighting talented artisans in our local creative community. This event will be produced by Napa-based event studio, The Pollinate Brand (founded by Oxbow Alumna Jordan Felling, OS5). Daytime event is free and open to the public. When day turns to night, Napa Makes will offer a special fundraising dinner to benefit The Stephen Thomas Scholarship Fund. In the school's 19+ year history, over 140 professional Visiting Artists have graced our program, and so far over 70 have generously donated a piece to the Works on Paper Exhibit at Mondavi in support of the Stephen Thomas Scholarship Fund.
